I enjoyed my 8 and a half years with the Force. In fact the Force molded me. I left the Force and went to University thinking I would return to the Force. Such was not the case. I pursued a career in Clinical Counselling, working with Mental Health Clinics for 14 yrs. I moved to the Department of Community Services as a District Manager for two Counties, One of the duties in this position was to supervise Child Protection staff. This brought me into a close working relationship with two RCMP Detachments. I remained in this position for 15 yrs.
