Supt. Joseph Wilbrod Thibeault (retired), 62, died December 17, 1992, at Maple Bay, British Columbia.  He was born December 22, 1929, at La Tuque Quebec and joined the Force October 10, 1952, at Quebec City.  Upon completion of training at Depot Division, Regina, Saskatchewan, Thibeault was posted to “F” Division, Saskatchewan, working at Saskatoon, Outlook, and Biggar.  On December 1, 1955, he was transferred to “A” Division, Ontario, and worked at Ottawa, North Bay, and Brussels (Belgium).  On July 31 1969, he was transferred to Headquarters, Ottawa, and on September 1, 1970, he returned to “A” Division.  On September 1, 1972, Thibeault was posted to “C” Division, working in Montreal, and was transferred to Headquarters April 27, 1978.  He was invalidated to pension August 31, 1985.  Thibeault was promoted to Corporal May 1 1962; Sergeant October 1 1968; Staff Sergeant November 1, 1969; Sun-Inspector July 1, 1972; Inspector July 1, 1974; Superintendent April 5, 1983.
