One Story our dad used to tell us was that when he was on patrol, a group of members (him included) would go out on patrol and park their police cars in a farmer’s barn in Radisson, Saskatchewan and go into Saskatoon to party.  They became known as The Lost Patrol.

Our dad was also a member of the Musical Ride and performed at New York’s World Fair on July 1st, 1939 (Canada Day).

His troop became Number 1 in Provost Company and saw action overseas in WWII, and after WWII he was elected to remain in the Military Police in the Army.

September 1, 1973 – Laying up of the old RCMP Guidon 1935, coincided with the Reunion Church Parade honouring the service of No. 1 Provost Co. RCMP in the Centennial Year.
