The Stories
I joined the RCMP in Calgary, AB on May 21, 1974.
After passing from Depot Divison on October 18, 1974, I was posted to Fort McMurray, AB until September 01, 1977, when I was transferred to Strathmore, AB. On July 01, 1978, I was transferred to Calgary Detachment until I took my honourable discharge effective March 31, 1980.
On February 25, 1980, I was hired by the Calgary Police Service (CPS) and served with them until I retired as a Detective in the Economic Crime Section on May 01, 2000.
On May 01 2000, I was hired by the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) as a Peace Officer and Chief Securities Investigator until my retirement in Calgary at the end of 2019.
In retirement I'm a director of both the RCMPVA Calgary Division and Calgary Police Veterans Association.
