After training, transferred to A Division in preparation for Centennial year celebrations and Expo 67.
Transferred to J Division, serving in General and Highway Patrol Duties.
Back to Depot and the Drill Staff in 1975 and transferred to HQ Division in 1977.
Coordinated the transition from the Expert Marksman program to the Emergency Response Team program.
Underwent counterterrorist training by the British SAS in the establishment of the RCMP's first temporary Counter-Terrorist team
as Tactical Operations Commander in preparation for the Ottawa 1981 G7 Summit held in Montebello Quebec.
In 1986, transferred to the position of Tactical Operations Commander (S/Sgt) of the RCMP's first dedicated Counter Terrorist Team (SERT) .
In 1990, transferred to Operational Planning Branch until retirement in 1991
