Career Highlights:
Posting in the Yukon and posting at Depot. Depot allowed me to travel to USA as well as Czech Republic to train police educators.
After retiring, moved to Fredericton, NB and became Director of Security at UNB (University of New Brunswick) until Aug 2009. While at UNB received Master of Adult Education and taught Criminology at St. Thomas University in Fredericton for 4 years.
Aug 2009 returned to Regina and from Nov 2009 to Jan 2020 worked as a public servant with the RCMP National Recruiting Processing Centre. In total, worked for the RCMP for 36 and a half years as a regular member and public servant.
My career in the RCMP was most rewarding and has left me with fond memories and many good friends across the country.
For my wife, it was challenging being at home often alone raising our two children. She did a great job of it and I credit her for the way our children turned out, contributing members of our society. Being a spouse of a member takes a very special person and my wife was truly up for that task.
