Some Memories of Service:

On patrol 11 PM Easter Sunday 65, in Norway House, went through the ice with police bombardier. Escaped through the hatch under the ice. Fortunate to find the hole and get out. Through the ice twice before making it to shore eventually finding a house on reserve that took me in. We eventually recovered the bombardier in 42 ft water. Ice was 30″ but honeycombed.

12 Jan 71 Thompson, Manitoba. 3 members of Saxon MC Club used an IED of 10 sticks dynamite and blew up our unmarked PCD car parked beside the office. All sticks didn’t explode or members in building would have been injured. Subjects arrested 15 Jan due to every member in Thompson (36) working tirelessly. Confessions obtained. Convictions & pen time ensued.
