Story:

I was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, but my family moved to Ontario in 1945. I went to school in Dunnville, Ontario. I engaged in the RCMP in 1959 and was posted to DEPOT Division. After training, I was posted to “K” Division and was stationed at Wetaskiwin Detachment. In 1962 I was transferred to Red Deer Highway Patrol and also got married. In 1965 I was transferred to Innisfail Highway Patrol, and shortly thereafter to Innisfail Detachment. My wife and I raised three children, JOY, ROBERTA, and NORMA while in Innsifail. In 1970 I was transferred to Grande Prairie City Detail. In 1974 I was transferred to Okotoks Detatchment. I retired in 1979 having served 21 years and was never stationed off #2 Highway.
