Story:

Training was a grand adventure. I met a fine group of men and instructors. Before arriving in Regina, I did not know what to expect, nor could I imagine what was about to unfold before me. “Depot’s” environment (the dorm, drill hall, parade square, swimming pool, gym, mess, riding school, etc.) was certainly unique and a one-of-a-kind life experience. The memories are still vivid and cherished.
Overall training and career were extremely rewarding and memorable experience. Standards were high and the caliber of recruits and fellow officers exceptional. The instructors and the curriculum helped prepare and shape recruits for a career in the RCMP. Continuous training helped immensely. I am honored to have had the opportunity to serve the Canadian public while upholding the fine traditions of the Force. It is a chapter in my life I would not change.
