Story:

Graham Love was born and raised in North Bay, Ontario. Graham always dreamed of a career in law enforcement. He wanted be able to help those in need and help make the world a better and safer place. He chose to apply to the RCMP because of their qualities and core values. Graham was excited to finally achieve his dreams of being a police officer and provide a wonderful life for his family. Graham is supported by his Wife Sarah, Daughter Katie and Son James.

Graham’s first posting was to Coquitlam, British Columbia where he worked General Duty Frontline Policing for 3 years. After 3 years Graham moved to the Coquitlam RCMP Prolific Target Team. The Prolific Target Team is a surveillance team that monitors and surveils repeat offenders that commit crimes such as break and enters, auto-theft and theft from vehicles. After 2 years on the Prolific Target Team Graham was requested to join “E” Division Major Crimes Tactical Covert Operations Group (TCOG). TCOG is a surveillance team that works for both “E” Division Major Crimes and the “E” Division Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.

During his time in Coquitlam, Graham received multiple awards while working with the Prolific Target Team including an Award for Valour which is one of the highest awards in the RCMP. The Award for Valour was for when the Prolific Target Team arrested a man armed with two guns at a busy bus station without any injuries or anyone firing a shot. Graham can often be described as being very dedicated to his job. He works hard, takes his job seriously and does an outstanding job. No matter the call, from an elderly woman calling 911 to get a racoon out of her house to serious shootings, Graham treats each call as important as the next. Most importantly Graham loves being an RCMP officer.
