Story:

From 1973 until 1981, I was in the Canadian Armed Forces.  I spent 5 years with the infantry and 3 years in the Air Force.  I travelled overseas, completed 6 months in Cyprus UN duty, and 3 years in Germany NATO duty.  I came back to Canada to spend 3 years in Gypsumville. Manitoba at Radar Station.  I got out in 1981 and stayed in Regina and raised a family.

In 2000 I got a job with the transport section at “Depot” Division.  I worked 8 years there, transporting Cadets around base and in Regina.  After that, I switched sections to the grounds unit.  Keeping the “Depot” grounds presentable was the most enjoyable for me.  I had a great bunch of coworkers.  I had 28 years and 42 days with the Federal Government.
